tsuchikara pottery
I’ve never been very good at keeping my New Year’s Resolutions. Usually mine are pretty dull, about saving money and exercising more, so I’m not surprised that I have a hard time following them. However, this year I wanted to have a fun resolution, so I’m challenging myself to spend more time making things for fun outside of work. I’m off to a pretty good start, I bought a bunch of yarn for a knitting project and my boyfriend signed me up for a wheel class that starts next week. I don’t really know anything about pottery, so this week I’ve been spending some time on Etsy doing research on techniques and styles. I want to share a few images from one on my favorite finds, Tsuchikara Pottery.
Tsuchikara Pottery is the efforts of San Francisco based artist Mitsuko Siergrist. I love the fine details and the colors in all of her pieces. Check out her shop to see more!
