You guys know by now that I am a sucker for portrait photography that captures foreign cultures. Malte, I believe he’s based in Berlin, Germany, has shared his eyes during his travels. And: he’s also just an amazing photographer. Eye-porn, really.
This strip is the answer to the self-imposed question: What would India look like if it were a movie?

Nina Mouritzen photographs the kinds of people you wish you knew and the kinds of places you wish you could find. You could assign any number of stories to any of the photos in Nina’s portfolio and that’s what I think is so great about looking at a collection like this; it’s so easy to dream up what the day the photo was taken might’ve been like. Because really, we all want to spend our time hanging out with artists and musicians and guys that do lip tricks on the edge of roof tops.

Adam Krause has a solid set of commissioned portrait work in his portfolio, but it’s his personal series that make him a stand out. I’m not sure which is more disturbing – “Alligator Hunting + Commerce” or “Greenpoint, Brooklyn Nazi Skinheads.” Then again, we could always through the Morrisey fanatics series into the mix…


Incredible photos from London based artist Hannah Starkey. Many of her photos employ the use of actors and are strongly directed. Her photos almost seem like stills from a film, which make them seem even more like a ‘dramatic pause.’
