Tymn Armstrong has started a collection of fake logos, not fake as in they don’t exist, fake as in they only exist in fiction. Pretty cool collection, check em out and see if you can id the movie/tv show before you read the caption.
In celebration of the upcoming movie season [specifically, the release of Iron Man 2], Screen Rant has released a series of 30 awesome minimalist superhero posters. They even included some of the more unconventional superheroes, like Quail Man and Darkwing Duck. If you love superheroes like I do, you should check out the whole set, it’ll make your day!
Don’t get me started on that piece of crap. Moving on:One of my most highly recommended films of 2006 was from writer / director, Rian Johnson, called “Brick.” If you haven’t seen it, I suggest you Netflix that shit STAT. With an incredible performance from Joseph Gordon-Levitt (of 3rd Rock fame) that makes Brad Pitt + the ponytail from Twilight look amateur with his surprising dark ass, fast talking sex appeal skills – I promise, you’ll love it. It’s a gorgeous film that doesn’t take itself too seriously but does just enough to deal with a murdered love – keeping you reveling in the noir-ish language and rooting for the good guy all along. Now Rian Johnson is finally releasing a new film, The Brothers Bloom. It happens to be starring some of my favorite people. It also happens to be about orphaned con artist brothers and the costumes make me think of Oliver. Opens Friday in the big cities. I love being excited about new movies. Plus, I haven’t seen much like it in a while, have you?Seriously, these dudes are way better than Zach Brafffff.
