this week—a focus on one product, developed by Oriko Designbüro in Germany. A digital map of a city is translated into a tactile experience, allowing a blind user to get information about the immediate environment. Also, by pushing down the buttons, various acoustic information adds further detail to what’s around.
I think this product is a/super beautiful, and b/super intelligent and c/clearly identifies why design thinking is necessary across the board.
