A short while ago we had the pleasure of interviewing our good friend Armando Bellmas while enjoying some frozen treats. Armando is a commercial photographer based in Charlotte, NC who thrives on working with & photographing people. He’s a hell of a guy and he’s always welcome in our studio.

(I recommend using headphones while watching the video… it was too windy for our super expensive, high-end camera equipment)

Giveaway time, folks!  I tweeted about a photo I liked taken by local NC photographer Mike Carroll a few weeks back and, lo and behold, Mike was kind enough to send not one but two of the prints over to our shop!

Sharon Dowell is an artist currently living in New York but hails from Charlotte, North Carolina. It’s a good thing too, because she exhibits in the area; if you hurry, you can still see some of her work for sale at Flanders Gallery in Raleigh. I’m a fan.
