Scotty Reifsnyder is the talent behind the Heroes of Folk letterpressed card series. The style is awesome and the series brings life back to those old American folk heroes like Paul Bunyan, Johnny Appleseed and Annie Oakley. Nice patriotic touch having them all printed in red, white and blue too (*cough* and black). These cards can be yours for $30 each or $150 for all six.

First there was JFK, then the assassination. Then there was LBJ and the Great Society. Sadly then, there was the assassination of Martin Luther King. With America’s ebb and tide of grim and glory, a blog post is too small and pitiful of a space to talk about a man and such history. So, I’ll leave you with this: the quadruple-edged sword that pretty much sums it all up for me. In the meantime, let’s be thankful for tomorrow.
