Do you guys remember Nike IDs? Keds just jumped on the bandwagon, and now on their website you can customize your shoes, and even upload your own images. And they’re only $60 a pop, which is kind of awesome. Thanks Keds!

Sixty dollars is ridiculously expensive for a pair of cheap canvas shoes…people are starving around the world, care about people, not buying more overpriced crap you dont need-thats whats awesome.

If your concern for impoverished and starving people is so passionate, perhaps your time would be better spent taking action rather than reading an art & design blog.

Or why not customize a pair of these kicks with a UNICEF or Free Rice logo and become a walking billboard for positive change.

Designing Keds is not that new. It is possible at least since spring this year on Zazzle. Thousands of people have already created their shoes there. OK, it´s great that you noticed that too
