James Mitchell, aka Nas Champas, is an artist & musician from Portland. He’s mostly focused on his work with his band Nurses, but it’s his illustrations that I’m really drawn to. His work reminds me a lot of Brendan Monroe’s earlier work, which ain’t a bad thing. There’s about 25 excellent drawings to poke through on his Flickr page, and his Hasselblad photography is pretty fun too.
