I can’t decide if these are funny or sad or both. There’s definitely something unsettling about our propensity to domesticate the natural world. It’s also ironic that the act of knitting, which would ordinarily be considered an act of generosity or kindness, actually blinds/muzzles/suffocates…

they ARE suffocating. some are reminiscent of sock monkeys (rabbit)but not all floppy and friendly-like. soo well done and crafted. i will be thinking about these for awhile, me thinks.

They look like they’re blind and are trying to see. I kind of want one on my wall. Although, maybe not; they are a little creepy.

I like them. I find them more whimsical than suffocating, and I think they are much classier than having a dead animal hanging on your wall.

I’m going to buy a vacation home in the mountains just so that I have somewhere awesome to put these.
