I really love the dreamlike landscapes in Betsy Walton’s work. I am also find these words about her process really inspiring:
I work with a spontaneous approach and few expectations of specific results. I rarely sketch preliminary drawings before diving into a painting, in the belief that the image formed through the painting process itself will be rich, revealing, and vital.

CitID is a website for people from around the world to uploaded graphic treatments of their cities. Check out this blurb from their website:
Our hope is that creatives from around the globe will make a logo or a visual interpretation of the city closest to their heart. The universal goal is that every city ultimately gets their own identity on CitID, and that both the city and it’s aesthetic contributor gets recognition through this library—a place where you come for visual inspiration and leave with more knowledge about the world we live in.
Pretty cool idea!

How awesome is this? Porridge Papers has a line of 100% recycled paper with seeds mixed in. If you moisten the paper and plant it under some soil in a sunny spot, it actually grows! I would love to do a project with this paper, it’s so fun!

Neawear is a Montreal-based company run by Janick, who quit her day job as a graphic designer to focus on making jewelery and embroidery. Her Etsy shop is full of wonderful things, and reading this interview she did makes me daydream about what I would do if I ever wanted to take a break from graphic design.

Who is pumped for the World Cup?! I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all of the awesome commercials I’ve seen, but this one is my favorite. Please enjoy Nike’s Take It To The Next Level, directed by Guy Ritchie.

Check out these invitations for American Dance Festival’s Gala that I just got back from the printer! This project was a lot of fun for me because I got to integrate hand crafted elements like the wax seal and rubber stamp for the reply envelope.
You can see a few more pictures on my behance.
