Gillian Lambert has created the series “Self-Deception” which explores the beauty within the weird, complex, grotesque qualities of ones self. Her work hopes to prove that something traditionally disturbing can also be beautiful.
Her portrait with the rubber bands totally brought to mind Phil Keen’s “Rubber Band Face”.
