our work: solay
We just got this stationery back from the printer for Solay Counseling & Research Center. This project was interesting because I had to [very carefully] figure out how to replicate the multiply effect as a two color print job. It was also exciting to print on the envelope flap. Now we just have to get the website launched!

Love those rounded serifs & the fresh yellow/green – very light & airy & refreshing!
haha. angling for a job james?
mmmmmm…nice work guys!
looks alot like the BP logo, looks nice and clean though.
Shout out to Miss Kamala! What a fantastic client (with GREAT taste!) Great job, Nicole.

I like it! It’s clean and different!
I like…..very different
This is awesome!
Any advice for how you replicated the multiply effect? I’m running into the same problems with a logo myself.
Mimicking the multiply effect is a little tricky. What I ended up doing is laying different areas of the logos on top of each other. The bottom layer is the lighter green with full coverage, and the other layers are the different triangular segments in 100%, 85% and 70% of the darker green. I used the paint bucket tool in illustrator to fill in only certain sections while leaving the others clear. So in the end there were 4 layers on top of each other. Does that make sense?
also, you might want to do a press check, because it’s hard to tell how the percentages will turn out, and make sure the difference in levels will be noticeable enough
